You may have noticed that I have been posting very little on the blog in the recent weeks. Well, along with doing lots of shoots I have been working on finalizing a commercial lease for a new studio space in New York's Flatiron district.
For over a year, I have been on the lookout for a great space that is in the right area of town and is also large enough to accommodate the growing needs of the studio. I finally found such a space and last week signed the lease.
The New York realtors have a funny term for a rectangular space like this one: "Vanilla Box". This means that pretty much we'll get a rectangle with 4 walls and some windows in it. The above drawing doesn't do it justice, but the new space is pretty incredible and will be large enough to house the team as well as operate a photo studio. We're all very excited about it.
More about it in the coming days.
